When Bronwyn first met with the client’s she knew this project was going to be a big undertaking. “My first thought was to stage this project,“ says Bron. “By focusing on one zone of the house at a time we were able to ensure that each part of the project got the attention and budget it deserved, without compromising the overall look. This format was especially helpful as the client had chosen to live at home with their two small children whilst renovating.“
With a client hailing from America, Ivy + Finch were given the task to redesign this 80s home with a contemporary take on a traditional American style.
Having now completed the renovation of the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, Ivy + Finch and their team of trades are taking on the revamping of the ground floor kitchen, living and dining areas in 2021.

Whilst the aim of this project was to freshen up this home with a clean and crisp colour palette, Ivy and Finch introduced signature style items to bring in pattern and interest in ways that would prevent the home from dating.
