This semi-rural Redland Bay new build was furnished to suit the active lifestyle of its inhabitants
A sprawling contemporary home with Australian influences.
This spacious home was a dream of our clients for their active and outgoing family. Every space has been designed with scale and texture in mind, bringing elements from the outdoor inside and selecting pieces that wouldn’t be dwarfed by the client 6 meter high ceilings.
“When I first stepped into this home I was taken aback by the mammoth living room,” says Bron. “It didn’t feel right to fill the space with lots of pieces of furniture that would get lost in the large space so I pitched the client the idea of having a huge modular sofa custom made for the space. Needless to say, they loved the idea!“
Our biggest sofa ever!
Bron worked with UD furniture to modify one of their designs to create the largest sofa that both the designer and manufacturer had ever installed. “The customisation allowed us to be really flexible with what felt right for the client,“ says Bron. “We were able to achieve both comfort and durability, by selecting the perfect foam and feather-wrap and choosing a long-lasting fabric that with withstand their kids for years to come.“
